When nineteen-year-old huntress Feyre kills a wolf in the woods, a beast-like creature arrives to demand retribution for it. Dragged to a treacherous magical land she only knows about from legends, Feyre discovers that her captor is not an animal, but Tamlin—one of the lethal, immortal faeries who once ruled their world.
As she dwells on his estate, her feelings for Tamlin transform from icy hostility into a fiery passion that burns through every lie and warning she’s been told about the beautiful, dangerous world of the Fae. But an ancient, wicked shadow grows over the faerie lands, and Feyre must find a way to stop it . . . or doom Tamlin—and his world—forever.
Perfect for fans of Kristin Cashore and George R. R. Martin, this first book in a sexy and action-packed new series is impossible to put down!
I’m waiting on this because it sounds AMAZING. I keep seeing people talk about it on Twitter, and I am anxiously waiting for it it to be out so I can read it.
I can’t wait for this one!
Me either, I’m knew to reading Sarah Maas, but if it’s anything along the writing style of Throne of Glass I know I’ll love it.
I’m waiting for this one, too! I wish I had an ARC because it sounds amazing and after reading the Throne of Glass series, Sarah J Maas became an instant buy author! I pre-ordered it actually because the publisher is doing this thing where if you pre-order it by a certain date, you get a free ACOTAR plated bookmark!
I swear I replied to this already, I think wordpress doesn’t like me. Anyway, thanks for stopping by the blog. I am super excited to read this. I too wish I had an ARC, but I’m good with waiting.
Great pick!
Thanks.
Cant’ wait! I hope you enjoy the book! Check out my WoW!
Thank you.
YES!! This is my pick this week too! 🙂 This cover alone makes it one I would pick right up! But the summary is amazing too. Happy reading.

The cover is what first drew me to the book, but I like the idea of the story as well.
