The first in a new series, a journalist focused on her career and a sexy Scottish comedian turn a one night stand into forever.

Cassie Crow leaves for vacation with two goals: fill up her empty charm bracelet and have a one night stand. For once, she wants to have fun instead of obsessively checking her work email. And kissing a man in a castle who’s dressed as a Scottish Highlander is the perfect solution.

Except when that man turns out to be Logan Reid, the host of a popular sketch show—and Cassie has just been roped into his latest prank. She wants nothing to do with his antics, but that was a really great kiss, and one night together couldn’t hurt.

It’s clear that one night isn’t enough and when Logan’s show brings him closer to Cassie, they decide to give dating a try. Can the woman who’s focused solely on her career and the man who refuses to take life seriously make it work?

What a cute story. I was hooked from the title of this one. I mean what isn’t there to love about a man in a kilt.

This is the story of Cassie and Logan, one a journalist and one a prankster, both trying to turn their careers in a new direction. Cassie away from pop culture and into a more serious journalistic path and Logan into a late night show, coming off the internet onto the television. When Cassie and Logan first meet, it is in an old Castle and their chemistry is off the charts from the start. The only problem is that Logan is not who Cassie thinks he is. And let’s just say that more than sparks fly when Cassie realizes who Logan is and not in a good way. The prank they meet in the middle of does not go the way that Logan planned, and Cassie is not happy that it happened. Especially when Logan is suddenly chasing her to get her to sign a waiver to allow them to air it.

What I loved most about this story is that I really felt like Cassie and Logan connected, and while some of what Logan does it not on the up and up, it was interesting to see how their feelings grew from just a fling to maybe something more. Their back and forth, their love and hate, kept their story interesting.  I also loved the other characters in the story as well, Cassie’s friends are entertaining and Logan’s buddy Theo, kept the story interesting as well.

All in a all a good read, from the get go. A great story with romance, comedy and of course love.
